Child Care Success

Story:   YWCA’s preschool program helped Emmaleigh learn basic skills to prepare for kindergarten. On her first day of kindergarten, she mistakenly boarded the wrong bus. The driver didn’t know where to take her, but thanks to the YWCA’s preschool, she knew how to sing her address. After singing her address to the driver, she arrived home safely.

Thanks to the YW Children’s Center, many “graduates” have the skills necessary to thrive in elementary school. They learn important social and educational skills that help make the transition to primary school an easy one.
