STATISTICS

  • Approximately 40% of all victims/survivors of violence suffer after effects serious enough to require therapy in adulthood.
  • Men that have been imprisoned for gang related violence have a 90% likelihood of returning to jail within the next 5 years after their release.
  • The 3 types of hate incidents most reported are racial (5,396), religious (1,401) and related to sexual orientation (1,016).
