Many companies
struggle with balancing the needs of training for their employees with
the implementation of providing training. There can be space
restrictions, time restrictions, equipment restrictions or lack of
available instructors. Taking training to an off-site location has
proven effective for many companies since the training is provided in an
interrupt-free environment and the time for training is dedicated to the
needs of the employees.
The YWCA
offers a dedicated training space free from interruptions and a computer
for each student (up to 20). Professional training can be provided by a
Microsoft MOUS certified instructor. Group computer training has never
been easier or more effective for your company.
The J. Henry Kegley Computer Technology Lab is a

PowerPoint, Access, Publisher and Outlook. Internet access is provided
by BTES using Internet Explorer 7.0.

In 2003 the YWCA of Bristol moved to a bold and exciting new facility at
the corner of Pennsylvania & State Street. This 30,000 sq. ft. facility
allowed the development of new programs. In expanding our vision to
serve the community, the YWCA of Bristol now offers a
Computer
Technology Lab. This lab provides access to a variety of computer
applications, the Internet and new technology which is critical for
participation in our economic, political and social lives.
